Character Abbotsford

  The Character Abbotsford Council will be hosting its annual Speaker Event this coming Thursday, November 18, 2021. Unfortunately, this year’s event won’t be open to the public but we will report on the session here. The panel of speakers will be informing the council on homelessness in the Abbotsford area. We are excited to hear from the following: • Megan Capp: Manager of Social Justice, Seniors, and Housing (Archway) • Kevin Murray: Professional Standards Section (APD) • Ross Siemens: City Council (City of Abbotsford) • Mike Sikora: Housing, Homelessness, and Community Development Specialist (City of Abbotsford) Check back for an update following the event.

Also recently named to the board were: vice-chair Shelly Avram, treasurer Bev Olfert, secretary Jory Smallenberg, and directors Sir James Barlow, Christine Bomhof, Wendy Neufeld and Linda Pollastretti.
